Palace of Peace
Client: World Peace Organization / Location: Iceland / Building Type: Government
A designed space for people from all over the world to gather together to work on peaceful solutions within their countries. The facility includes spaces for dining, socializing, meeting, worshiping, sleeping, and living, within environments inspired by six cultures.
Space Planning
A previous project updated to reflect the original inspiration of The Latin Cross Plan. Historically the floor plan was used for churches and cathedrals. Within the Palace there are two styles of resident rooms.
Mill-work
Each country represented in their own custom mill-work to reflect the country’s aesthetics.
